A Condensed History of Our Agency

    RE/MAX Walden Country, Inc. was established March 1, 1991 in Concord center. The mission was then as it is today to provide the highest standard of real estate available to the consumer while creating a unique and outstanding atmosphere for agents thereby allowing them to excel beyond all expectation within our worldwide network. The dream began.

    In 1992, our territory grew from Concord, Carlisle, and Lincoln to include Acton and Boxborough when we purchased the Acton franchise rights. These offices filled with truly exceptional agents. We opened the doors to our Acton Office on Great Road to allow easy access to the community. The dream continued to build.

    In 1999 Walden Country, Inc. purchased a wonderful firm known as Group West, Ltd. in Lincoln Center. This acquisition added an office in Lincoln Center to our company. With Group West came a strong and enviable history for helping Lincoln residents and future residents. Our market grew.

    In 2000, Walden Country, Inc. was fortunate enough to acquire the Lexington/ Bedford franchise and a truly incredible office known as RE/MAX Premier Properties. This little office, located in the heart of Lexington Center at Depot Square, brought extraordinary industry leaders and superstar agents. We were then positioned in the best markets in New England. We called it the “Patriots’ Trail.”

    2002 brought the opportunity to complete the “Trail” by acquiring the finest firm in Bedford MA, The Donovan Company. With over 4 decades of impeccable service at the same location in the heart of Bedford Center, this office fulfilled the vision. With it came magnificent agents who pride themselves on unparalleled teamwork to serve the customer or client. Market share, strength and credibility were added to the whole.

    It is an honor to have created such a company. The RE/MAX network is the world’s largest, the agents are among the most productive in the area, the support staff is comprised of expert caring diligent people who enable us to be the unique company we have become.

    We provide service to our communities in our attempts to give back! In 2003 we began an impressive charitable event called “Dine the Patriots Trail”. In this event, we invite restaurant sponsors to donate a percentage of the proceeds on certain days to Children's’ Hospital, Boston through Children’s Miracle Network.   We promote and market the event to make it a success. In 2004 we raised over $10,500.

    Each year we continue to grow. Agents come to place their business within ours. Each year we help more and more customers and clients to buy or sell their homes. Each year we learn to treasure each other yet again for the difference we seem to make in this world.
